Learning definition.

Learning is one of the highest functions that the brain is capable of doing. The purpose of this capacity is to help to ensure survival, considering that by learning, the answer choices will increase and therefore, the chances of emerging victorious in a certain situation are bigger.

Learning is defined as changes in synaptic connections that were generated from theoretical, practical information or life experiences. Modifications in thinking and behavior occur because of changes in the connections.

Learning can be Emotional or Cognitive Executive. They both have different characteristics and processing places. So while emotional learning is characterized as: fast, permanent, unconscious and not requiring effort; the executive cognitive learning is characterized by: slow, easy to forget, requires conscious effort and sustained and selective attention.
